Fall 2011 Glove DriveThis fall, Middle Tennessee FCA Baseball will again partner with the Gloves4God ministry to reach children in the Dominican Republic and inner city baseball ministries in the U.S. To support this mission, FCA Baseball team members will hold a glove drive at Murfreesboro Baseball Association- MBA to collect youth baseball gloves, MLB caps, team jerseys, softball gloves and equipment. Gloves4God ministers to young children playing baseball in the Dominican Republic by traveling there several times a year to distribute donated gloves, repair broken gloves and share a message of hope with the children and families.      As parents of young athletes, we have all seen the smile on our children's faces when they get their new team jersey and hat or put on their glove for the first time. You can see the excitement they feel when they take the field in their new uniforms. You can help share this joy with a child less fortunate and can really help make a difference in a young child's life by donating a new or used baseball glove, cap or jersey. This is a great opportunity to teach our kids about the FCA Core values of Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence.
